Board Administrator
This position is responsible for ensuring that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to enable relevant people to determine when, how, and by whom the Board’s and Committee’s business was conducted and ensure compliance with any applicable legislation and Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Awa Charter requirements.
TE RONGOĀ | ABOUT YOU
- Minimum five years experience in an administration role that requires strategic minute-taking, preparation and distribution of meeting minutes, corporate reports and committee/Board meeting packs.
- Experience in a compliance related field
ŌU PŪKENGA | SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with excellent minute taking.
- Task focused to ensure meetings are well organised and the business to be conducted is organised and provided to the Committee/Boards
- All Committee/Board meetings and business is recorded accurate
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, word, excel, PowerPoint)
- A team player, ability to multi-task and work in cross-functional, fast-paced environments with the pressure of deadlines
- High standard of copying and audio typing with reasonable speed and excellent accuracy
- Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively
- Commitment to TRONA’s roles, priorities and strategies
